5ire, an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain ecosystem, that focuses on positive impact and sustainability using distributed ledger technology, launched the private version of its Testnet: Thunder (Alpha) on November 30, 2022. Building on the Alpha’s success, the team is thrilled to launch Testnet: Thunder (Beta) on February 13, 2023, which is going to be open for public use. This launch marks a significant milestone in the development of 5ire and opens the doors for developers, partners, and community members to test, build, and refine their applications on 5ireChain.
About the Testnet
The ultimate objective of 5ire Testnet Beta is to gather user feedback in order to improve the 5ireChain Ecosystem.
5ire’s Beta Testnet is built with a unique consensus protocol, Sustainable Proof of Stake (SPoS), which ensures that ESG compliance rewards the nodes for being there for the benefit of society as a whole. This ensures that the platform remains secure, decentralized, and environment-friendly simultaneously.
Testnet: Thunder is also fully compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) and bring their existing Ethereum-based dApps to 5ire. This opens up a world of new possibilities for developers to create innovative solutions on the 5ire network.
The company aims to lead the way in blockchain sustainability by providing a platform that operates efficiently and reduces energy consumption. Testnet: Thunder (Beta) is a significant step in achieving this goal, and 5ireChain is committed to making the blockchain industry more environmentally friendly.
For the first time, a blockchain project of this scale is attempting to solve the complex challenge of scalability, with sustainability. This is a big moment not just for the company, but for the entire 5ire ecosystem.
“We are thrilled to launch our Testnet Beta for global use, and believe that this will set a new standard for the blockchain industry,” said Pratik Gauri, Co-founder and CEO of 5ire. “Our unique consensus protocol and compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine will help us achieve our vision of a sustainable, secure, and decentralized blockchain platform. This is our first step towards the vision of a Fifth Industrial Revolution”
Adding to this, Prateek Dwivedi, Co-founder, and CPO 5ire, mentioned “This is just the beginning of something much bigger. In the next few days or weeks, we hope to see some of the most ambitious developers and builders building on 5ireChain. We can’t wait to see things break and get feedback that will help us put forth the best version of the Mainnet forward.”
5ire is set to embark on an ambitious journey this year, including the integration with Polkadot, leading up to its Mainnet launch in Q3 of 2023. The company invites developers, enthusiasts, and early adopters to join its Beta Test program and get involved in building the future of blockchain.
In the coming days and weeks, the 5ire team is expected to share more details on the BuildToEarn Campaign. They will be hosting regular community events and AMA, and actively engaging with the ecosystem. On top of all that, they dare you to break their Testnet.
